I think that Mario Lemieux should tell city officials Fuck Off
He should make the deal in Kansas City now & take his team out of Pittsburgh at season's end because they've been fucking him around for far too long. They built new spots for the Steelers & Pirates. Who the hell goes to Pirates games. They should probably re-name the baseball team the Ass-Pirates, but that's for another post.
He should also come out of retirement just before the playoffs. I think that a broken down 41 year old Mario could still contribute positively to the team. Even if he can't play in back to back games. It would take a ton of pressure off Sidney Crosby too. I think that #66 today at 50% of his former self, would still be better than some of the stiffs on the Pens roster. I know that I'm dreaming but imagine that this happens & they win the Cup? That would be the ultimate Fuck You to the city officials.
