Rubber Neckers

I cannot stand it when people slow down to look at an accident or cop cars flashing lights. This slows traffic down a lot and usually causes more accidents.

What is it with people's morbid curiousity? I guess it outweighs their need to cut me off, not use turn signals or brake at the last minute and decide to turn left when they're in the right hand lane.

What about when there's a bad accident near a residential neighbourhood? All the hermits come out of hiding and start milling around the scene asking everyone questions.

Last Friday afternoon, I was sitting in my buddies backyard in Aylmer having a beer and the next thing you know some car got t-boned and ended up in a ditch. Jaws of life was used to extricate the victim from the car. All that I had to do was turn my chair around to witness the commotion. By the time we realized what had happened 10 sets of eyes were already on site asking questions.

Some dude brought his toddler aged daughter to watch the whole rescue thing!
Friggen people. The more I know people the more I love animals.
